Microsoft laid off more than 9000 employees this past week. Along with the devastating effect on the lives of those people the ripple effect across the tech landscape did not miss the video game world. You buy a game on steam and it goes ito your library. You own that game, right? Well it doesn't seem possible but what if Steam went out of business? Can't happen, think Google Stadia.
